Legacy ECU Flash prior to 1998 Model Year

Enhanced DRB III Emulator supports ECU Flash for non-CAN Chrysler Group vehicles for 1998 and newer model years.  ECU Flash on 1997 and prior model years requires a physical DRB III device.  If a user attempts to download a 1997 model year or prior ECU flash file for use with Enhanced DRB III Emulator with TechTOOLs, TechTOOLs will give an error stating:  DRB III Emulator does not support model years prior to 1998.Graphical user interface, application Description automatically generated

ECU Flash on 1997 and prior model years requires a physical DRB III device.  If you do not have a physical DRB III device, you can rent one from Controller Technologies Corporation.  Please see their website for additional details:  https://www.controllertech.com/products/drb-iii-rental
